Winter ONEderland - crafts and favors

Starting to gather ideas for DDs Winter ONEderland party.  There will be several children there ranging in ages from almost 4 to 10.  I think I am going to do the "snowman bowling" idea for an activity but I also wanted to setup a little craft area if some kids want to do that.  Given the age range, what is my best bet on crafts?  Also, favor ideas for the kids?  I usually like to stick with something consumable (nobody needs more chatchky in their house).  TIA!

    I'd check Oriental Trading for crafts. There's always something easy there. What about coloring mugs & then having a hot cocoa station?

    How about decorating snowflake sugar cookies?  I like the cocoa mug idea, you could always give them cocoa and marshmellows as their favor.  I've seen tutorials online where you can make snowglobes out of jars (like baby food jars).  That might be cute for older kids.

    Tchotchke! Sorry, not trying to be a jerk and point out spelling mistakes, but I like that word so I looked it up :)

     ...I also like the decorate-your-own sugar cookie activity, or you could attempt gingerbread houses using graham crackers stuck to little milk cartons

    Combine craft and favor and either do decorated cookies or the layered in a jar hot chocolate mix.

    I did Giant gingerbread men decorating at DD's. I got them at Costco and the kits came with everything! It was a huge hit. For the favor I gave out cookies from a popular cookie shop in my area and they pre wrapped them for me an I ordered stickers that went with the theme to put on them.

    These are the exact ones I got. I exchanged the candy out for pink, silver and white that went with DDs theme. They went on sale after Christmas and I got them for half off!
