Oh boy, where do I start?
Friday night we went out for dinner with friends who also have little ones. I expected a smooth night (LO always behaves in restaurants) well he decided not to on that specific night. He did no want to sit in the high chair and did not want to eat. He was all over me and was fussing and screaming. So we had to cut it short and left a very bad impression. yep.
Saturday morning was interesting as well. Did not want anything, was fussing, kicking and crying. Everything I offered, he threw! I really dont know what the heck he wanted lol I kept my cool until he got over it.
So my question is...am I the only one? What's going on? Early Terrible Twos? ahhhhhhhhh! help.
Re: Tantrum Central?
You are not alone... my lil guy is definitely testing the old parental patience lately and making his dissaproval very clear when he cant do something he wants. He is currently sporting a cut on the corner of his eye and probably has a black eye coming his way in the next day or two, because apparently he doesn't have to stay off the sofa or sit down. That will be join the scraped up nose and bruised forehead he scored walking into the doorframe at the car dealers at the weekend.
........and did he learn.. nope..soon as the tears dried up... he got straight back up on the sofa and started smiling and waving at me...
and oh boy can he scream..I thought we got over the screaming fits months ago ...and its not even when he is unhappy.. he does it when he is happy too lol...

Oh no, you are not alone! lol
Liam has turned up the heat...stomping, crying, blubbering (he really sounds like he's trying to say something that he can't quite articulate yet). He throws things...and then stomps them.
Most of the time I feel really bad for him because I know HE knows he is frustrated but doesn't know what to do with it. I just do my best to be patient. At this point he is learning to communicate but just isn't there yet...and I think that is a big piece of the puzzle with kids this age.
Oh...and he is independent as all get out! That is cause for fussiness too I guess.
omg the pinching part is a little funny. I hope they get over it soon.
Truth is that it didnt even cross my mind that they are now trying to communicate and get frustrated. I guess this is a learning experience for me too.
