I miss my baby

We just came back from a week in up north WI at a lake cabin. It was fantastic to relax with the family and Natalie loved being at the lake!

But....somehow in the week before we left and since we've been home, my baby has disappeared. Someone replaced her with this crazy toddler! She is done with walking and now RUNS all over the house like a wild woman. In the last two days she started having these toddler tantrums when I didn't let her play with different things in the house.

AGHHH! Bring my baby back! I'm not ready for this toddler stuff

Baby Aggie isn't walking just yet, but otherwise I feel your pain. I love this funny, crazy little girl...but I sure do miss my sweet little loaf of squish that hadn't yet mastered the "throw yourself backward and howl like a banshee" reaction to every small disappointment.

I'm sorry, kiddo, I'm sorry I won't let you eat the cat's tail/drink my wine/make poop angels in your old dirty diapers. Life can be so cruel.

nice to hear i'm not alone in the fit throwing world. LO wants help with walking/running around the house and is an energizer bunny about it. and when you want to stop she throws a fit!

not to mention naps. all she wants to do is run, no naps. she's fought all of them for the past few days with screaming tantrums in her room until she passes out. :-( I know she's tired and no amount of soothing of any type has helped so we' just let her cry right now. not fun for any of us, but when we sooth her she just screams all the harder.
