  Digitals don't lie. Your urine was probably too diluted. You could retest in am with first morning urine.

  Thanks for the reply hippiechick. That is what I had thought too, but of course being a first time pregnant lady I freaked myself out. I also called a nurse to ask her and she told me that it is very unlikely because she's never seen someone get a positive at 3w6d? I saw stuff on the internet where women had....

  I vote pregnant. Test in the morning with an FRER or another digital. Concentrated urine is best for an accurate result. Odds are your urine was too diluted when you tried the second time.

  I took an antibiotic about a month ago that knocked out my BC. Starting getting severe mood swings, swollen breasts, mild discharge, and cramping that feels like very mild period cramps.

  I took a pregnancy test Sunday night and got a positive! It was a digital early pregnancy test...very expensive. At that time, I hadn't  consumed a lot of water and had pretty yellow, concentrated urine.

  I took another test Monday afternoon after consuming apprx. 2 bottles of water and peeing a lot. My urine was colorless. The test was negative.

  So, I guess the big question is....what was the real result? Anyone else had an experience like this? This would be my first pregnancy and if I am pregnant I'd be about 3 weeks 6 days.

  Well... First off, I tested positive at 3 weeks, 4 days! And I took my first four tests without needing to drink anything and they were all positive. I decided I still wasn't convinced and drank a half a gallon of sweet tea (caffeine free!) and the test I took after that was negative. I tested again in the morning and got another positive. I think you just diluted your urine- very easy to dilute hcG at such an early time!

  I tested positive at 3w2d. I'd test again but I'd say pregnant!!

  Ummm digitals DO lie. I had one tell me I was pregnant, only to start my period days later. It was very weird. 

   

   

  Wait a few days. Take another test. If nothing else, you'll either get your period, or you won't.

  I got a positve on a first response preg test at 3 weeks 4 days (or less!)- yes it is early, but when if implantation happens early, then the test can detect within 48 hrs or so.  Good luck!!

  Hi! And it sounds like.. congratulations! When I took my test, it was because I was a little late and shockingly enough, it was positive! I wouldn't worry too much because I know a lot of people get pretty early positives. Try not to let her worry you too much. I know.. easier said then done but I agree that you should try first thing tomorrow morning. It sounds like you are pregnant! Just try not to drink a massive amount of liquid tonight, drink like you normally would and good luck! Let us know how it goes!!
