  I would call for anything above 103 or one that won't go down with meds.

  Oliver had a 101.7 for a few days last week or two weeks ago and it went away. Seemed fine otherwise.

  I wouldn't call unless it went over about 102 and either didn't respond to tylenol/motrin or persisted for more than 48 hrs.

  This but watch for ear tugging or other symptoms that would indicate an ear infection. Howell never gets a very high temp with his ear infections.

  Honestly, if you're worried, just call. I guarantee you that your pediatrician is more than compensated for being available 24/7.
