scary situation

We were watching tv in the living room when the power went out so I assumed it was just a blown fuse, but when h went to take care of it he yells its not the fuse and to come look. The electric cable had been knocked down and was barely connected to house and was smoking and sparking in the backyard. We quickly got alexis and the dogs out of the house. H called the electric company and after about a half hour or more they arrived. Meanwhile I took Alexis and dogs to a friends. We are waiting to find out if it can be fixed today. It is currently 97 outside.

We now have power again, but its only a temporary fix. We have to get an actual electrician look at it tomorrow. The cables were all melted including the cable tv box. We are so lucky the house didn't catch fire. We thiink there must have been a strong gust of wind. We were not able to get ahold of the landlord so we will have to call in the morning.
