We recently ran out of shows, too. We started Continuum together, and I've been watching Raising Hope on my own. We tried The Tudors but thought it was really boring.
ETA: I just finished Raising Hope, but luckily there is now an entire thread of shows for me to choose from. Thanks for posting, OP!
I'm obsessed with Bones. nbsp;Arrested Development is also good, I think all the seasons and the news season is on there!
This! And warehouse 13 and of course eureka! We are watching arrested development again so we can watch the new season. I also want to watch trublood because I started it and never got past season two.
Edit: sorry trublood does not appear to be available
New Girl was recently added to Netflix so if you don't watch it regularly you shouldddd it's great. Also, Bob's Burgers. I just discovered it after seeing an amusing clip on Adult Swim and realized it is exactly how I envision my family being (unfortunately...) I will also say that The Walking Dead is a must. And DH turned me on to Psych. I didn't realize how quick and witty it was so it's worth trying at least.

This! We love New Girl. We also watch Modern Family and I like the Mindy Project. Someone also mentioned Arrested Development and that is one of our favorites!

We're working our way through Friday Night Lights and rewatching some of Arrested Development... I'm looking forward to the new episodes.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. I was working my way down to see if anyone had mentioned it. I loooove FNL, favorite how ever. Didn't watch it until last summer on Netflix so I didn't discover its amazingness when it was running.
Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Pretty Little Liars, Bones...
Pretty little liars and vampire diaries are my favorite embarassing shows! There is no way DH would watch them though.
I watch very, very little tv. I watched Lost when it was on, and try to catch The Good Wife. But I never miss PLL! DH thinks its hilarious bc it is pretty out of character for me. But I love it!
OP, not sure if the Good Wife is on Netflix, but I really like it.
I watched like seasons 1-5 of Nip/Tuck in just a few weeks time several years ago. Another fun one.
If you like downton you'll like Call the Midwife. Though there is some sensitive subject matter so be aware.

Yes! This show is excellent!

I forgot Leverage! Is that on Netflix? Also, I'm LOVING all the Buffyites on here. I confess I've always had a not so mild obsession with that show and Joss Whedon.
Me too! DH and I fell in love over Buffy. It was the common nerdy thread that finally brought us together. And speaking of Joss Whedon, I just re-watched Dollhouse, and I still love it.
On my list of things to watch (or things I watched and loved) on Netflix:
Once Upon a Time
Star Trek (all of it! But Patrick Stewart makes TNG the best, obvs)
Bones
I'm pretty sure everything else has been mentioned multiple times already.
P.S. To the person who said Borgias should be avoided, may I ask why? I've been wanting to watch that one, and I have friends who love it. I'd probably like it, but I'm curious to know what made it bad for you.
Hmm I would say supernatural for sure. Very good show and extremely attractive brothers. Hehe. Vamp diaries. How I met your mother is a good, funny show. Also I actually really enjoyed watching all the episodes of prison break on Netflix.
White collar, the glades, and Psych are all good ones!
These are 3 of our favorite shows to watch together.
OP: We also like Raising Hope and Better off Ted. We have started Damages, but we stopped watching it for a couple months (I think the end of the first season? can't remember exactly when/why) and when we started it up again, we were so confused we couldn't get back into it, but it was really good when we watched a couple episodes a week and paid attention to what was happening.

We've seen anything zombie ever created. DH is obsessed.

DH actually watches Vampire Diaries with me. He loves it. He draws the line at PLL. He won't do it.

How I Met Your Mother
Not serious at all, but funny.
I think most of these were already mentioned, but I have to agree with:
Buffy
Battlestar Galactica
The Office
Walking Dead
Doctor Who
Skins UK series 1 and 2 only
Parks and Rec
Arrested Development
Weeds
Monk
Heroes (only the first season though..)
Vampire Diaries
The 10th Kingdom (this isn't a tv show, but a mini-series. It's really campy and cheesy but somehow amazing at the same time. I love it)
The shows you've already watched (breaking bad, LOST, etc) are some of my favorites!

BSG is right up our alley, so we always want to love it. But the episodes are so looooooooooooong. I don't have the necessary attention span for it.
I like both of these shows. You are right about Ronin making Atlantis good. He was my favorite character.
