Terribad Housewife Challenge!!

So I always tell DH I am an awesome wife but an absolutely terrible housewife. It's true. Laundry and dishes are always behind. I keep up with vacuuming and bathrooms but usually things are disorganized. My brain is constantly going in 80 directions.

Well I told him that if I kept the dishes from backing up until Friday I was going to buy myself something. He agreed and said 'I like my odds.' Well, Sir, challenge accepted!

I see some beautiful yarn in my near future.

Lol! What a great idea. I used to be so on it but since DS I've never gotten back intoy groove. Maybe if I challenge myself I can actually do it too. I love competitions so this may be the best thing to light a fire under my butt to clean!!

my DH asked me to spend 90 minutes on house stuff every day. I was really good at it for a while, but less so recently. LO's naps have been sporadic and I never know if i'm getting a 20 min nap or a 2 hour one.

back on my plan this week while he's gone. can't wait to have the extra 3 hours in may day from not pumping! soon, so very soon....

For now just stashing it. Yarn is much more expensive in England so I'm trying to collect a lot so I have a while before I have to pay a lot to ship it from the US. Eventually I want to make a giant granny square blanket for Chloe's play room/play area, like this

If I did that I could probably keep up. I mean I start every morning with vacuuming anyway while Chloe drinks her bottle but once shes done we're either playing in the tub, practicing standing, going for a run, crawling in circles, clapping and singing songs, working on words, or I'm doing something to prep for the move. By nap time I just want me time!!

But I really should aim for this. I'll set a timer on my phone.

Actually no. I'm taking it slow. Next week I'll cash in on keeping up with the laundry

I will never be caught up on anything. Getting a quote tomorrow for getting a dishwasher installed. Hopefully it's a decent price because I think a dishwasher would solve some of my problems.

I'm horrible housewife as well. Especially now that both lids are home all day. It's so much harder. I've gotten better with the dishes purely because we go through do many with both kids. The laundry..........ugh.

dishwashers really help. We went without from about June to December of last year and it was a huge game changer when we got our new one. I always hand washed in our apt bfire we got our house in 09 but MAN! Once you have one you get spoiled. I hope its a good price for you!

Housekeeping is hard. I'm like Natalie. The diaper laundry is always kept up. Other than that it's anyone's guess.
