Anyone's baby's hair NOT fallen out?

DS was born with a tiny bit of hair which was completely gone by a month old and stayed bald till he got a teeny bit of hair around a year old.
DD was born with more hair than DS [although not a TON of hair] but none of hers has fallen out. Is it possible she could keep her hair?!
Did anyone have a baby that was born with hair and didn't lose it?

  • I have hope! I don't want my poor baby girl to be as bald as DS was. You could use his head as a mirror he was so shiny bald lol.

  • A still has 90% of her hair. I was worried because I lost  all mine as a baby as was bald for over a year!

    There's hope yet!

  • DS was born with a head full of hair. He has started losing it on top but the bottom is still thick and growing. I'm afraid he's going to have Bozo the clowns hair style before long!

  • Archer has lost a tiny bit of hair on top ... But it looks like he has less because his head is getting bigger, yet he has no new growth. Hello Donald Trump.

His hair is still just as thick in the back, growing, and he has both a little swirl and a mini rat-tail. We're keeping it classy here in Chicago.

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

Same with mine. In fact it could almost use a trim he has so much!

  • DS is 9 weeks and has most of his hair. He looks like an old man with a receding hairline, lol.

He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

  • DS is 4 weeks, was born with a pretty good amount of hair and I don't think any of it has fallen out. It seems like some of it breaks off in the back when I put him to bed without a hat on. So I try to remember to put a hat on him at night in hopes of keeping the pnp from rubbing a bald spot. Could be a coincidence, but we keep it cool at night, so what harm can a hat do?

  • B still has all his hair. Granted, it is not a ton and it is thicker/longer in the back, but he never lost any since his birth. I, on the other hand, am losing my hair like its going out of style.

  • My 2 yr old was born with lots of hair and it never fell out. In fact he still has lots and it grows like crazy. I have to cut it every few weeks. He gets complimented on his long curly hair everywhere he goes. His new sister was born with alot of hair as well and has not lost any yet.

  • DS1 was born with a ton of hair. When he was 3 months I declared to my husband that it wasn't going to fall out, so of course it started to then. He was bald by 4 months. However it did come back fairly quickly, he got his first hair cut at just after his first birthday.

  • DS1 was born with hair and over several months it thinned out and then grew back in. He never fully lost it though.

DS2 was born with quite a bit of hair, moreso that his brother, and it just seems to be growing!

  • DS had really short hair - he was almost bald. What he did have never fell out.

DD has more hair, and it hasn't fallen out yet. She'll be a month tomorrow.

  • Ds never lost his hair. DD is 3 1/2 weeks and was born with a full head of hair which has not fallen out. Not sure at what point I can be confidant that it is here to stay.

This goes for us too. She was born with a ton of hair and still has a ton of hair. The back could probably be put in a tiny ponytail! It just keeps getting longer...and crazier! It sticks up all over the place! lol

  • My son still has a full head of hair at 2 weeks and I don't expect it to fall out, given our family history. My daughter had a full head of hair at birth and never lost hers--she had bangs and hair to her shoulders at 11 months. My husband and I were exactly the same way, I'm told.
