Teething or something else?

Ok, a little back story. Several weeks ago we took Hudson to see his ENT, he had a really bad cough, runny nose and his snot was a little green. I figured he had a sinus infection but the ENT's PA thought that maybe he had a food allergy and said we could test him for that. When we saw the ENT he confirmed that it was an infection and prescribed 10 days of antibiotics and said that if it came right back once he got over it, then we would need to test for food allergies.

Hudson is currently getting 4 top teeth all at once, he's started having diarrhea and on Thursday he started sneezing with a runny nose and now the horrible cough is back. My DH seems to think that this is all from teething and I'm hoping that's all it is but I'm just worried it's more than that. He's acting like his normal self except he's more irritable but I guess I would be too if my gums were all swollen and I had that many teeth coming in.

I guess my question is, do you think this is all caused from teething or do you think it's more than that?  Would you wait it out or call the doctor?  Has anyone else's LO's experienced this with teething?

    Just went through the same thing with B! Ear infection - followed by antibiotics - followed by all 4 top teeth coming through. I took him back to the DR just to confirm his ear was ok, and it was. All his crabbiness and pulling on his ears was due to those top 4 coming in.

    Hope they pop through soon!! It's wonderful relief for all involved.
