BTDT moms - nursing clothes?

What inexpensive brands of nursing clothes do you like?  What styles of specialty nursing clothes and regular clothes are most convenient and discrete, especially for a large chest?

  • I really liked Glamourmom nursing tops. They can be pricey, but I got a great deal off babysteals.com. Also got some nice tops from Motherhood Maternity.

Take a look in your closet to see what might work for nursing anyway.  I only bought 2/3 actual nursing shirts and the rest of the time I used regular shirts with nursing bras/tanks.  My biggest suggestion is to make sure you have several of those - for the first six months, I only had one tank and one sleep bra plus one regular bra that didn't actually fit.  It was stupid.  I finally got two bras that actually fit at that point and it was amazing what a difference it made.  This time I've already ordered several new tanks (especially handy for layering in winter, since I've never seen many long-sleeve nursing shirts).

  • I didn't buy many nursing tops and ended up not liking the ones I did get. I just used v neck tops, glamour mom tanks with a cute cardi over top.
