3 hour glucose

Not even 1 hour into my 3 hour glucose test and I am over it! I feel awful and want to puke and pass out. This sucks...

Get through that first hour and it'll get better. I felt like puking before the first draw, but felt more in control afterwards. Keep yourself distracted with the interwebs and it'll be over soon!

Thanks, I am feeling a little better after the first hour. The lady in the lab is super nice so she's making my day by chatting with me during the blood draws. 1 hour 20 minutes to go!

I had my 3 hour glucose on Friday. It was not fun but I knew I had to do it. The orange sugary drink is the worst one yet. Especially when you can't eat. I would take the fruit punch any day!

I had the orange one for my screening and 3 hour test. Yes, it is pretty gross. I'm afraid I'm going to have GD based in my reaction afterward. As I was driving home I started sweating really bad and shaking. By the time I got home I was about to pass out. Probably not a good sign and I sure am glad I did it on my day off!
