self weaning at almost 11 months?

I do have a call into the LC, but I wanted to know the opinion of some mommies.

LO has been less and less interested in nursing. She likes the milk, but doesn't want to nurse. She's way too busy being hand-sy with wanting the sippy cup (she gets water and milk in it when I'm at work) and any table foods we'll give her. If she sees something she can do herself, she doesn't want what we help her with aka spoon fed foods. She is about 10months 3 weeks. My supply has been lessoning because of it. I just have never done this before and don't know if this is a normal age for this.

My DD went through a phase like this where she was too distracted to nurse. I kept offering the breast to her though and eventually she started teething again and was back on the boob 24/7. lol.

IMHO I think 10 months is too early to be self weaning...

It's possible she's just slowing down on amounts. She nurses every time she wakes from a nap and before bed, so that's 4 times a day. She still usually gets up 1-2 times a night, though DH insists on furthering sleep training this week (she was waking every 2-3 hours still at 7 months and we did Ferber to get her down to 1-2 times a night). I guess it's possible as she eats less at night she'll want it more during the day.
