Hey Lenox! Just checking in to see whether you ended up doing further testing. I know you were scheduled for Wednesday, I hope all went well if you decided to go through with it! Keeping you in my thoughts!
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

I just came here to post on Abeille's check in! As usual - you are so thoughtful to ask about me:)
We did actually go forward with the CVS and had it Wednesday morning. The procedure went well - we had a great doctor (he is a CVS expert) and the ultrasound tech was sweet and comforting. On the way out we swung by my doctor's office - the sex results are already available from the Harmony test so we asked a nurse to write it down and put in an envelope for when we are ready to find out. We would prefer to find out that way vs learning over the phone.
We are supposed to hear back today on the FSH results - which is the major stuff - Trisomy 13, 18, 21 and the X,Y chromosomes.
Yesterday (July 4th) was my 38th birthday. Because so much is closed on 7/4 MH takes me out the night before or after, so tonight we are going to a super fancy place to celebrate. Assuming everything from the CVS comes back normal (fingers crossed!) we will hopefully open the envelope before dinner and discover if it's a boy/girl.
So basically today is a BIG day!!!
I want to say again that I appreciate everyone's thoughts and perspectives as we made this decision and it gave me and MH a lot to think about. The risks weighed heavily but for us, we had to know 100%. I know that the Harmony trumps our NT blood results but those dismal numbers just shook us and we would never know unless we did the CVS. We are extremely lucky to live in NYC and have access to doctors who do this all day long. While that certainly doesn't mean things don't go wrong, it gave us a sense of comfort.

1st BFP-8/17/12! Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US. D&C.
2nd BFP-2/13/13! Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
3rd BFP-5/22/13! By early June, progesterone plummeting. Another loss.
August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
I am glad you went with your own instincts so you can find the peace of mind you're looking for and move forward with no further doubts. Glad also you had such great doctors to go to. You will remain in my thoughts, I hope all your results are super! Keep us posted!
