Shower Question

We were given a surprise shower tonight. Some of the people who were at the surprise shower were in the process of being invited to another shower at the end of the month not all the invitations have gone out yet for one reason or another. Is it bad manners to still have the hostess invite them to the shower at the end of the month? I don't want to seem grabby but some of the already know about the thee shower so I also don't want to not invite them and then have them think I was offended or something.

    I would still invite them. They can come if they want to and just not bring a gift. It is still fun to celebrate the baby.

    I would invite them.  I wouldn't want to have them assume that they wouldn't be invited otherwise.  If you run into them, express your appreciation from the surprise shower.  Then let them know that you are not expecting anything at the planned one.   This happened to me with a bridal shower. It will be ok.

    Yes, certainly still invite them. Maybe next time you see them, say how happy you were that they were at the surprise shower and that there's actually another one in the works that they're invited to. Thank them for any gift they already gave you and tell them how much you'd like for them to come celebrate the next one, but to come empty handed.

    I would still invite them. My MIL and her friends ended up throwing us a last minute shower the day after a shower my aunts had thrown. She ended up inviting a lot of people that had been invited to the other one, they all still came and we had so much fun. MIL and her friends know how to throw a party/shower haha.
