If anyone can give me their opinion. This is my first month temping so im still getting used to all of it. So my chart say I am predicted to O on cd 26 but ff is also saying according to my temping I may have O'd between cd6 and cd12. What do you think? There isnt much there to look at but opinions help. My chart is in my sig please let me know if you can view it
Re: super confused with ff
This is your first cycle, so FF doesn't really have enough info to make an accurate prediction right now.
It's not like a crystal ball that magically knows when you ovulate.
It's an application that analyzes the data you enter and makes predictions based on what you tell it.
In the first few cycles, expect some kind of wonky predictions, because it's really just guessing in the absence of hard data.
It's meant to teach you about your cycle. Keep at it, it gets better.
ETA: FWIW, I don't think you O'd yet.
PP basically covered it; FF will help you stay organized the first few cycles, but I wouldn't rely on it to actually predict O for you. Right now (and most of the time really) it would probably be better to look at FF as a way to take notes on your observations and put it in an organized chart form to be able to more easily draw your own conclusions.
Just a side note, since you said you were new to temping. If you are temping orally, you might get a wider range of temperatures. The general consensus is that temping vaginally will result in steadier temps and might make reading your own chart easier. (Don't change temping methods in the middle of a cycle though; wait until the next one.)
I don't think you O'd either. FF is probably guessing the way it is because your temperature took a major jump and you noted EWCM, but I'd be willing to bet that the lower temperature was a fluke (esp. if you temp orally). I doubt you actually O'd that early.
Good luck!

FF is insisting that I O'd on CD9 for me, and since my temps haven't dropped, I think that FF may be right that I O'd, but maybe not necessarily on CD9.
Keep charting for a few more cycles, and FF will have a clearer picture for you.
