How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 7w 2d

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had an ultrasound Wed to check that we had something growing. Saw a nice little heartbeat.

QOTW: Do you plan on doing something, or taking something with you to the hospital or your place of birth to represent the child you lost? (Pictures, jewelry, etc.) I will probably keep my necklace on. I would like to take a family photo with photos of Elsie included.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I had a much harder time at the u/s than I thought I would. Everyone kept asking me if I was ok. I was, but it was also the flashbacks to the last ultrasound I saw. I could tell before the doc said anything that Elsie's heart was not beating. To see a beating heartbeat just caused me to lose it.

Wanted to report that baby Aubrey made her arrival at 9:31pm on July 3! She is gorgeous and dh and I are thrilled to have our little girl on the outside with us! She's having trouble with feedings and is jaundiced so we're spending some extra time at the hospital for some phototherapy.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 3 weeks 2 days, poppyseed

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I had my first betas done today, next one is Tuesday

QOTW: Do you plan on doing something, or taking something with you to the hospital or your place of birth to represent the child you lost? (Pictures, jewelry, etc.) Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. It's a nice idea though, maybe we could get a teddy bear or something to give to the baby from their big sister.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I am just worried about getting through the next few weeks. With both an early loss and a later loss under my belt, I am really nervous about another early loss. I feel pretty confident in my doctors that they can keep what happened with Kayla from happening again, but there is nothing they can do to keep our little baby safe from a first tri loss. Though I am sure enough anxiety will set in as I get close to my last loss point as well (22 weeks).

My first appt is July 19th, two weeks from today...but who's counting

I wear aquamarine stud earrings everyday and I have a necklace that I wear for special occasions. Alice was born in March and aquamarine is March's birthstone. I will probably wear both when I go to the hospital for this baby.

Monday is my one year wedding anniversary. We were legally married in Nov 2011, but had our wedding July 8th 2012. I can't believe it has already been a year. It has been a year full of laughter and heartbreak and I am so lucky to be on this journey with my husband. I wouldn't have made it without him.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
10wk 6 days.. It's now a prune

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
This coming week I have another screening u/s. I forget the official name of it but in an effort to stave off an amnio, I have chosen the non-invasive route.

QOTW: Do you plan on doing something, or taking something with you to the hospital or your place of birth to represent the child you lost? (Pictures, jewelry, etc.)
I always wear my angel necklace with his birthstone. I also plan on putting together a birthing play list with songs that remind me of him. My EDD is 2wks after my loss date so I anticipate being very gentle on myself in January.

I'm just focused on being positive and passing the first milestone which will be 11wks 6 days, when signs that there were problems in my last pregnancy began... the next will be 21wks when I lost him. My fear is serious though as my pregnancy dreams have all involved bleeding or spotting, PGAL brain sucks!

Congratulations lrichmond! She's beautiful!!

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 11 weeks and a lime.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have my fourth ultrasound this pregnancy tomorrow morning to check on my SCH, then my regular OB appointment. I'm trying not to freak out about things since baby looked good a week ago, but I've been spotting/had old blood for a week now.

QOTW: Do you plan on doing something, or taking something with you to the hospital or your place of birth to represent the child you lost? (Pictures, jewelry, etc.) I'll wear Devon's necklace and probably bring his Molly Bear with me to the hospital, along with a picture or two.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I'm freaking out about this SCH that I have. I'm trying not to, especially since I've only had spotting [of old blood] and no cramps, but PgAL brain has me in overdrive. I'm so nervous tomorrow. I'll do anything to bring this rainbow home.
