I'm looking for a double stroller that will adapt to my Peg Perego infant carrier and will also work for my 2yo. I went out today to compare/test both strollers but I still can't decide. I prefer the look of the Britax but my primary use would be at the mall so I'm not sure if the side-by-side stroller is best for me but tandem strollers seem so long and awkward! I have a larger SUV so trunk space isn't an issue. They are both heavy but I expect that with a double stroller. The sun shade on the Britax seems great while the Chicco sun shade seems cheap but I noticed Chicco's is removable.
If you have either of these strollers, please let me know what you think. How is it maneuvering around the mall and tight stores like Gymboree and Baby Gap? (I can barely get my single stroller through those stores now). How are the cup holders? Do you miss having a snack tray for your little one? Any pros or cons?
The sales guy tried selling me the City Select which seemed great but I just can't spend the $700 when I will likely only use this double stroller for about a year.
Re: Britax B-Agile double vs Chicco Cortina together
I have the City Mini double, which is very similar to the B-Agile. I take it everywhere, including the mall. I actually can get into Gymboree and Baby Gap. It isn't the easiest thing, but it can be done.
The B-Agile is much lighter than the Chicco. That is a beast!
