Amir saw the first one.....slight smile
From there on, it was slight whining and shaking.
Conclusion: he doesn't like fireworks...we'll see how next year goes

We watched fireworks on TV tonight with Lucas, he loved it! We knew he wasn't a big fan of loud noises, so we figured this was a good alternative! Sorry amir wasn't as big of a fan!

Mine were asleep in front of the tv in their swings when my dad and uncle were shooting them off. Maybe next year.

This was us too. Ds sleeps thru thunder, so i was surprised fireworks were a problem.

He didn't even flinch. He's asleep and it's just now getting dark, so there wasn't much for him to see or get excited about. But there were plenty of loud ones earlier when he was up...I was surprised he didn't get scared.

Charlotte reacted by sleeping in her PNP in the basement of our friends cottage. Then, she reacted by sleeping in the car on the way home, and she is currently reacting by sleeping in her crib.

I hope she continues to act this way for the remainder of the night. )

(In other words, we didn't change her bedtime just for this. She went to sleep at 8:00 as per usual.)

LO didn't get to see any. it doesn't get dark enough to do them until 9:00 or so and Addy passed out at 8. they're going off right now and she isnt' even so much as stirring so far. hopefully next year she'll get to see them.

Last night she slept in the car while we pulled over to watch them on our way home. It was rainy and gross tonight and the closest display to us was canceled due to a wiring issue, but they plan to have them tomorrow. We'll give that a shot. She has earmuffs for concerts so we will take those!

I took DD to the A's game yesterday and she surprised me by staying up late enough to see them. She hated the noise but LOVED the fireworks.

So far so good, she is still asleep.
Hopefully my lovely neighbors will observe the law and NOT shoot off fireworks all hours of the night.
Maybe next year she will see them.

No reaction. He was having too much fun playing with Daddy's hair while he sat on his shoulders and flirting with the girls around us. He didn't even notice them. I was disappointed haha!
