Finally, I get to join a birth club : After 6 years of trying on our own and failed fertility treatments, were pregnant naturally! I'm 13 weeks, 5 days and ecstatic :

Congrats to you as well! I'm due January 5th. IVF was going to be our next step, but unfortunately, insurance in TN doesn't cover any type of infertility treatments so we decided to give it a rest for a while. Then, bam, pregnant naturally!

Congrats to you as well! I'm due January 5th. IVF was going to be our next step, but unfortunately, insurance in TN doesn't cover any type of infertility treatments so we decided to give it a rest for a while. Then, bam, pregnant naturally!
That's how it happens! DH and I tried for 2 1/2 years and went through infertility testing. Before we did the surgery that we needed we decided to wait a year and got pregnant naturally with our first the following month. Like 2 weeks later. We are now pregnant naturally with our 3rd. Congrats to you I know how exciting the first one is when you've been trying for so long.

Cycle#1-3 Clomid 50mg + TI= No response
Cycle#4-5 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1000mg + TI= BFN, but finally ovulation!!!
Cycle #6 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1500mg + IUI(4/15)= BFP!!! EDD 01/06/2014 <br>

I have a very similar story. We have several failed IVF and IUI attempts that were all unsuccessful. People used to upset me when they told me to quit trying to hard, and that it would happen in God's time. Well, they were right. After 5 years, we gave up and forgot about trying. Woke up feeling strange one day, and realized that I have not had a menstrual cycle in a while. Took a test (and several more LOL) and discovered we are expecting. I have a 17 year old adopted daughter, and will have a newborn in January!
