I am so sorry you're going through this. I had the similar thing happen to me: At 24 weeks I was admitted to the hospital for bed rest with a cervical length of .8 and 1 cm dilated. I very luckily was able to carry my baby until 31 weeks and ended up having a c-section due to a prolapsed cord.
My only advice: stay as positive as you can. It will help you stay sane will in the hospital. Meet with the neonatologist at every milestone. I meet with them at 24 wks, 28 wks, and 31 weeks. They'll let you know what to expect. If you're doctors allow it take a tour of the NICU. If you can't due to activity restrictions then maybe your partner can.
Also, if you can have friends or family come visit you every day have them bring you fun things (books, magazines, sudoku, what ever) and food. Hospital food nearly drove me to the brink. My husband and best friend took turns bringing me a cooler full of food to eat through out the day.
Denesdia said about bedrest being better then time in the NICU. The 3 months we spent in the NICU with my twins was horrible. Every week you're on bedrest is a week your baby isn't in the NICU. Or at least that is what my husband and I kept telling ourselves when we got really down about me being stuck in the hospital this pregnancy.
Good luck!

My twin's birth story
I definitely agree with taking it one day at a time and taking a tour of the NICU. I was placed on SBR at 21 weeks for shortening of cervix and funneling. A couple of days later I had contractions and was hospitalized. Luckily, contractions stopped and funneling was controlled by Indocin so they sent me home to continue SBR. In my head, I was preparing myself for another preemie baby and was hoping to make it to at least 26 weeks. By 28 weeks, my cervix had shortened to .8cm so I was thinking that I would deliver soon. Somehow, I made it all the way to 39 weeks with almost no cervix. I should add that I was also on P17 shots with DD since DS was a 26 weeker.
What kept me going was starting to do cross stitching, trying to constantly stay positive, and setting smaller goals-like making it another week instead of looking at the total weeks I had to go. Bedrest was physically and emotionally draining for me, but it is a million times easier than going through the NICU roller coaster. The ladies on this board are extremely helpful and supportive. You can always come here to ask questions or simply vent. Please keep us updated with your progress.
Take it one day at a time or you'll drive yourself crazy.
Like others have said, tour the Nicu, get to know the staff, ask ANY questions you can think of.
Consider each day a victory. I was told that everyday the baby (in your case babies) stay in utero, it takes approximately two days off the Nicu stay. I would celebrate each and every milestone.
Bedrest was the easiest part for me - I made friends with the nurses and they would come in and chat with me all the time. And I spent A LOT of time playing Candy Crush!
