Super swollen down there

Has anyone else experienced swelling in the vaginal area? I know this is TMI but I just went pee and wiped and was shocked at how swollen I was. There even felt like there was a small bump on one side, not sure what that's about. Anyone else have this? Is it normal?

    Normal.  You can even get varicose veins down there :/  if it hurts that's what it might be.  Should go down a few weeks-a month after delivery!

    Nothing hurts necessarily. It just feels tight and bulgy down there when I wipe. Ugh.

    Some one I may be married to said it's like flaps are down and ready for landing....TMI? Sorry, it's late and I'm glad I'm not the only one swollen.

    I've been experiencing the same thing. I thought the worst. My cervix is thinning. I have an infection. Preterm labor. Should this be happening at 24 weeks? I have a ultrasound tomorrow so I'll see what it's about. I've also had soreness around my pubic bone area when I sit up or haven't moved in a while. I also feel so huge! I feel like I could deliver any minute now. Is this normal? Is there anything you can do to reduce the swelling?

    Ok, this made me lol. I had it too- it got a little worse temporarily right after delivery and then went away completely.

    I have it too, I was trying to attempt grooming myself over a mirror and was horrified at how gross it looks!

    yup, same, i lay with ice pack between my legs at night. my ob says try support hose, but its way to hot for that. i may try if it gets really bad.

    The bump is probably a varicose vein.  I noticed bumps too and got really swollen and uncomfortable around 20 weeks.  I almost died when I took a peak with a handheld mirror.

    Good news!  It goes away!
