Wasn't the full moon the 3rd? I get confused about this. Like, the 3rd was a Tues and google says the full moon was the 3rd, does that mean the full moon occurred the night before Tuesday or the night after Tuesday?
ETA: Anyway, Taylor was born the 3rd. Even though I'm glad she wasn't an Independence Day baby, I have a strong suspicion looking back on it that my OB stripped my membranes to quicken labor and save his holiday plans. Also I got pitocin even though I was already contracting....Very suspicious, doc.
My due date was the 12th but I REALLY wanted a 4th baby so I always told people that was my due date. I was unreasonably sad when he wasn't born until Bastille Day. That little squirt thinks he's a fancy Frenchman. Sorry Ticker, you live in redneckville, America.
Awww I was supposed to be induced the 3rd and if it went the same way it panned out we would have had a 4th of July baby. But she made her debut a few days ahead of time.

Funny. My facebook post last night was basically about what a difference a year makes. Last year I watched the fireworks on the 3rd looking out the window of the NICU, this year we watched them locally and Josh slept through them all.
Anyway, E was due the fourth and I wanted her here sooo bad. But she waited until the 9th. Stinker. My ILs drug me all over the damn place last year. I was miserably hot.
So I just have to say, THIS IS MY 1000 post!!!

Woohoo for 1000! And, we're bday buddies!
I lost my MP on the 4th, contractions started eeeeeeeeeeeearly on the 7th, and LO on the 9th.
Ahhh yes. I was still 4 weeks from my due date but I was looking forward to lots of babies being born around tb.
Today, I'm hoping to make it through the day without having a baby. My hospital is downtown next to the biggest friggin fireworks thing ever. I can't imagine trying to get there during that. Ugh.
We just left Downtown, it is getting quite busy and crowded... Stay put for another day, little man!

Wow, that post feels like it was about a week ago! I had forgotten about that until you just mentioned it and now it feels like that JUST happened! Crazy!

I wasn't wondering that yet. Just wondering when the heat would let up. When I was due it was our homecoming week. It was worse than the fourth. Parades events fireworks closed streets

EXACTLY one year ago my water had broken. It even happened around noon!!!
This was me last July 4th. I couldn't fit the pizza on my lap even though the seat was as far as it could go. H still thinks this is hysterical!
Coop needed a little encouragement to leave so we started induction on the 5th and he popped out on the 6th.
