Won't drink her bottles

For about a month now, DD has been less than interested in her bottles. She has been taking 4oz at a time though for a total of 16 to 20oz a day, so I wasn't too too worried.

Today she's had maybe 10oz and starts screeching like we're torturing her if she even sees a bottle. Shes had a little water and we've kept the sippy with water available to her all day. How worried should I be about this?

Re: Won't drink her bottles

  • Have you tried giving her milk in the sippy?

I wouldn't be too worried. DD was sick a few weeks ago and I was told not to worry if she didn't eat. Is your LO still having enough wet diapers?

  • At this age, I wouldn't worry. Maybe she will take her formula/bm in a sippy?

  • DS has been doing mainly 4oz bottles. I'm chalking it up to the fact that he's eating more food.

  • Tried the milk in a sippy with dinner to the same effect. She's gone to bed now so total formula intake for the day remains about 12oz. Boo. I'll try not to worry too much over one day but sheesh! Drink some liquids little girl!

  • She's eating plenty of solids? She might just be adjusted her intake.
