I shouldn't complain, DS is a good night sleeper, but always for his second nap (his longest) he'll wake up after 45 min or and hour and need to be rocked back to sleep. It's clear he's still tired, but he can't get through the next cycle on his own yet. Normal?
Last night he slept from 8-430 with a wakeup at midnight, just for his paci and a 5 minute rock in the chair.
Pin me baby!

Re: Rocked to sleep during a nap - normal?
We're in the same boat here. DD has become a great night time sleeper, but consistently only takes 40-50 minute naps in the crib. I reserve the swing for her afternoon nap when DD#1 is also sleeping and she will sleep 2+ hours. For the life of me I can't remember how or when DD#1 ended up taking longer naps in the crib, but I know she did eventually, so I'm just hoping one of these days she will surprise me. I feel like 0-3 months was all about establishing good night time sleep and 3-6 months will be all about establishing more consistent naps.
My baby rarely naps longer than 30 minutes at a time! I usually spend more time getting him down than he actually naps!
