UO... Or a judgement

I know it is early and super dead over here lately, but anyone wanna play???

I judge the woman who lives 2 houses down and does nothing but scream at her kids or every.little.thing! I mean seriously woman! Stop yelling at your little babies for doing absolutely nothing wrong, the whole neighborhood can hear you and you look like an asshat!

  • I judge every single person at my work who constantly told me I would never make it to my due date. Screw you guys!

  • Ha. I judge the daycare lady we saw going home yesterday. It was about to start raining and thundering. She had two kids in a stroller, 3 walking next to it and a toddler tethered to the stroller. He could have not been older than Alastair, probably younger. He was crying and sobbing and kept stumbling after her as fast as he could but she was too fast for him. She kept yelling at him. And then he fell. At that point, I spoke up and said he needed to be carried. She snapped at me he was just being a PITA and she needed to get all kids inside before the storm.

I followed her and I reported her. If it was my kid, she would have list us as clients and I would have made sure she'd have a hard time finding work.

The desperate sobs of that little boy will haunt me for a while.

Oh my that is horrible! I am so glad you reported her! If I found out my kid was tethered to a stroller, crying and falling down and then being yelled at I would lose my shiiit! I am happy that it didn't go unnoticed and that she is reported! Just curious, who did you report it too? Cops? CFS?

  • It's kind of a silly judgement, but I judge my IL's for not once mentioning to us this past weekend that they wanted to take a vacation next summer with us. DH mentioned it to me last night around 10:00 because that's when he got home. MIL and FIL need to book the airline tickets tomorrow! I am a huge planner and the fact that we will have a 4 month old and a 2 and a half year old next summer changes the game for us. Of course, no one knows we are expecting, so now we are in a awkward position of having to tell them before we are ready and over the phone. I hate last minute things.

The city, so bylaw. The city license daycares, so I called them. I say an By law officer there this morning on my way to the park. So they are doing something.

I mean, I get it. I wanted to get home with the boys before the storm hit as well. Which is why I carried Aidan in the Beco and stuffed Alastair into the stroller, even though he wasn't too happy about it.
But if a kid cannot keep up, you need to either go slower or carry him or get a bigger stroller. Or less kids.

    That poor little guy.

This is my neighbor, I like her, and I get that her kids are a handful, but it's because she doesn't follow through with her screamed threats.

Poor little guy! You did exactly the right thing. I'd be so pissed if that was my son.
