The incredible talking baby...

So, my daughter is non-stop chatty since birth (all the medical staff have said so at each visit).  It's all gibberish of course.  On 4 occasions her gibberish has come out as a clear "hi" when my husband and I are talking to her.  We joke about her talking but we know she has no clue what she is saying.

Shortly after her baptism I was at back of church changing her out of the family heirloom baptism gown while my husband was talking with the priest elsewhere.  A random lady from the next mass comes up and as she's walking asks me how old my baby is.  "Just over 3 months I respond" She comes and stands over my daughter and right on cue my daughter looks up and says "hi" .  The lady looks at with utter amazement saying wow your daughter talks early.  I am like yep, she's a chatty one.  Right then my husband walks up and the lady turns and is like...your daughter talks early.  My husband assuming the lady has been listening to gibberish is like "she came out talking, she's been talking since day one" the lady gets an even more amazed look on her face and wanders off.

I'm sure this lady went home and told all her friends about the amazing 3 month old baby that speaks!! Ha!  It was priceless.
