Bath time safety

We are beginning to transition into our real tub from the infant tub. Kendall is sitting fine (not perfect though) and is way too big for her infant tub. Those who have made the switch, what are you using to prevent accidents and slipping?

    We went with the duck tub, as DD isn't quite ready to share her tub with the baby. We also have a baby bath chair, but he won't stay seated, so that's not an option for us yet. There are sponges that you can lay in the bottom of the tub to keep baby from slipping.

    We're still laying him on a sponge. Even though he's sitting fairly well, I'm not comfortable with him sitting in the tub yet.

    We tried the bath seat first, but DS kept getting mad that he could not reach his toys. We now use a laundry basket inside I'd the big tub. The bottom is not as slippery as the tub. Also, his toys stay closer to him, so he is not reaching as for. Less reaching equals less loss of balance.
