Baby sign language

I know some of you are using or have used baby sign language. How's it going? What do you or your LO use it for?

When is a good time to start?

What resources have you used?

I'm curious to try it with my LO, and am interested in your stories.

The Baby Signing Time DVD is great. We just do the first and I try my best to remember to so the signs w him. I'm not so great at it but it's fun. He hasn't really done any yet though

I've been signing "milk" to DS since he was 2 or 3 months? I think *now* is a good time to start, based on books I've read. the baby sign language website is what I use to look up the signs.

I also sign "mama" and "more", but I don't do those consistently.

I just looked up signs for "water" "duck" and "goose". Will be signing those to DS.

I try to remember to sign, but don't always remember. I show her the sign for milk and more the most. I also do mom and dad some. I already knew these signs from classes. I also have an app that I can use. I think she recognizes milk now, because she will smile if I sign it and she is hungry.
