HI there,
I'm new to the board so forgive me if this has been posted a million times. I just spoke with my doctor after having an early MC at just over 5 weeks. My doctor told me that because it was early and everything happened naturally, there is no reason to wait before getting back on the wagon again. I have read so much conflicting information on this topic. Some say wait a couple cycles, some say theres no medically proven reason to wait.
Any thoughts or opinions welcome
Re: Waiting period after early MC
This. Generally, if you trust your doctor and that's the timeframe you were given, I would go with that. I have heard of others with early losses being given a swift greenlight as well depending in their situation and doctors preference. However, please be sure you are ready emotionally to ttc again. That took me a little time after our loss. Gl to you and welcome to the board.

All AL always welcome in my threads!
I had a MC in feb was 11 1/2 weeks along. We were told to wait one to two cycles. We were going to ttc after one cycle but my cycle was still off. I had a positive OpK very early and then had the temp change stating I Oed about a week later with negative OpK then.
We ended up waiting two cycles. I so wanted to ttc right away but looking back I was in a much better place waiting two cycles and it gave my body a chance to heal.
Everyone is different. You have to do what is best for you and your hubby and what your Dr says. I personally wanted A F to come back first just so I knew my body was getting back to normal. She came back 5 weeks after my dnc.
Sorry I know this might not be much help but wanted to give you my experience.
Welcome! And I'm so sorry for your loss. My personal experience is I am waiting for a couple cycles. As you can tell on my siggy timeline we were pregnant back to back to back, and ended up w/ 3 m/c's. It is extremely hard to go through, and I wouldn't recommend it. BUT that said, everyone's body is different, and can react differently. If your doctor feels everything is fine, and gives you the green light, I say give it a try. You never know, that baby can be sticky!!
Either way... Happy sexing!!
