Coparenting setback

So I might referred to DS1's father as a freaking, except not the nice word, idiot in a text yesterday. He told me he was doing fireworks with DS1 last night and that he'd send me a video. I get the video and it's filmed by his GF who is laughing as my 2 year old runs around unsupervised with a sparkler. And as DS1 flings it around like a magic wand a spark catches his hair ON FIRE. XH is seen running over and patting it out and then asking him if he wants another one.

In response to my fear that he and his GF are the biggest freaking idiots on the planet he sent me another video. And in this one HE is holding a sparkler and chasing after DS1 and jabbing it at him like a sword. I felt so much better after that.

And now I have the whole weekend to wonder what idiocy they could get up to on a lake on Fourth of July weekend. Sigh. Just when I think I can cope...

    Holy crap! I saw some idiots letting a little kid run around last night with sparklers and I was just horrified. The worst part about this is sending the video...flucking morons!

    Ok, maybe it's just me...but have you thought about having his 'custody' changed, based on his stupidity...using the video as proof?  I'm sorry that you're having to go through all this but maybe it's time to rethink things a little...?

    I love you guys! And I already know it would take more than that video to get the court to change our CO, but trust me I added it to my file.
