Period? Anyone? Sex?

I'm 3.5 months pp and bf. Anyone see any signs of their period any time soon? I've had some cramping off and on for a couple of days and a little extra discharge (sorry,lol) .

Sex is still a bit painful so I doubt it's another pregnancy because we've had actual sex a grand total of 3 times (albeit unprotected) but I've had to stop. We've been exploring other means of bedroom activities. Lol

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Breast feeding and mine returned 8 weeks pp, It's been regular since.

My daughter came 5 weeks early and while I was breastfeeding from the start I had to supplement in early days and I had complications in hospital that made it hard to BF every 2-3hrs at times so I blame all that.

Personally I would never use just breastfeeding as only means of not getting pregnant unless you are ok with getting pregnant again. For me it just seems to 'hidden' and unsure a birth control method!

BF, DD is 3.75 months old, no period, cramping a little from time to time when she nurses, I need to start temping, but I can usually (emotionally and physically) feel ovulation and no signs -not even close- yet. When I ovulate I get frisky and so far I feel like a eunuch.

And when it comes to meeting my husband's -achem- needs lube, love, lube, patience, lube and, um, more lube. As much discharge as I get from time to time its like Palm Springs down there whenever we try to get down.

Sometimes I feel like DTD but then it passes. I wish dads got these hormones too when a new baby arrives. I miss being on the same page as my man.

I'm 5 months PP, EBF and no sign of a period. Or a sex drive Sad Seriously, I'm hoping to feel more like my old self in that department soon, I really miss it! We started back up around 8 weeks PP, and have done it maybe every 2 or 3 weeks since then. It's good when we do it, I'm just hardly ever in the mood anymore.

We have no sex for 7 mons. DD is 3 mons 3 wks. I have no desire. I feel bad for patient hubby.

6.5 months PP and EBF, still no signs of my period. I'm not complaining. :-) I agree with a PP that I would use some sort of protection, unless you are ok with getting pregnant again right now. You just never know when your period will come back.

This, except we are no longer needing to supplement.....and we have dtd exactly two times since oh about Christmas.....ds is almost 17 weeks too.

I had cramping for at least a week and extra discharge about a week before I got my first pp AF at 5 mos. I think I was cramping due to ovulation. FWIW, I usually have really painful periods, but this one wasn't, just the ovulation time frame had some minor cramping.

Almost 4 months PP and BF. Haven't got a period yet, but had some spotting last week (I think it was because I recently got an IUD though).

There's so much going on with your body hormonally still that could account for the cramping and discharge, but it could also be pregnancy. Like PP's have said, BF is not BC!
