We saw fireworks last weekend. I put DH's shooting head phones on DS to watch them. DS fell asleep during them so they must not have bothered his ears any. Have fun!!
We will! We've never missed them, not even when christian was a baby. He absolutely loved them at Liam's age! I'm sure Liam will be mesmerized as well.

My kids go to bed so early, it's not worth it for is this year. But I look forward to it in the future!
Besides that has the weather improved? My sister said it's cold and rainy in chicagoland.
We're not because I don't want to fight crowds and contend with drunk people on the train coming home. We're going to a cookout and I'm sure we'll see some amateur ones walking home.

Baker, where I am (northwest chicago) it's been beautiful all day! 80 and sunny.
L will be up to party and see fireworks. B will be (hopefully) snoozing away
We are taking DS, it's just deciding which ones to go see. I'm bummed because we missed the ones we usually go to because I didn't realize they were last night. Bedtime be damned. There's no way he is sleeping through fireworks, and we aren't going to stay home because of that. I have another 3 days off, we will make up for lost sleep then
I plan on wearing him hip-hold in the k'tan so we can navigate the crowds better and make a quick getaway if he doesn't like them. And we are going to use his earplugs that he uses in the bath, they are really good for noise reduction too.
We are in Canada and had a family fire work show on Sunday. We all pitch in and set them off at the beach in front of my parents cottage.
Mom and dad stayed with the three little ones Monday night, and Summer, Leah and I headed fifteen minutes down the road to the firework show for Canada day.
Our towns fireworks were last night. They are always the night before. We watched them from our front yard but DD goes to bed at 8 and they didn't begin until 10 so no Fireworks for her this year.

This is us too. DD1 was 3 or 4 before she got to stay up for them. Bed time is way to important for us.LoL
