If you are ok with circumcising your boy or even if you're not, I guess would you also be ok with piercing your daughter's ears as an infant? Just a random thought with all this talk about making a "cosmetic" decision for your child.. FTR we have not made a decision yet about circumcision, but I never liked the idea of piercing a baby's ears. Just me personally. I'm waiting for DD to be old enough to ask for it, and then we'll make a fun day of it.

Trust me, the weather today is all we got going for us in ohio. Lol.

I am in Buffalo, so probably not too far from you. We were moved up here for DHs work and I can't wait to move because the weather sucks more often than not.

I am piercing my little girls ears before we leave the hospital of course! I already have her baby bikini picked out and a schedule written that she will follow from day one! I also reserved her place on toddlers in tiaras for next year! She better get a trophy before her first birthday!

Ok maybe I shouldn't have made it related to the circ posts lol, although I thought it would ruffle a few feathers. but, here is part of the reason I feel the way I do.. My mom had my earsierced when I was a baby (not like.. In the hospital, but when I was very little), and with the second ear I flinched. The hole is actually a line, and they told my mom to only let me wear studs bc if I wore heavy earrings my ear could rip. if I DO wear anything heavy you can totally see how it sags longer than the other ear. So then when I got a little older my mom took me to have the ear pierced again but in a different spot, but only did the one ear. So now if I wear hoops or anything besides studs, it's way obvious that they are uneven. Basically, I never ever wear earrings now bc my ears are effed up.

i realize this is a rare case but it still sucks for me!
