  No- the color of the dye is irrelevant. Call your OB & schedule an apptt. They will likely do a blood test at your appt. @ 10 weeks for most.

  Ditto PPs. Also, keep in mind sensitivity and therefore line darkness can vary from brand to brand. My tests were steady for a few days and then got darker. Try not to worry!

  I was freaking out about the same thing! My first light pos was June 28. Took another one Sunday, and still light. I bought cheap dollar store ones knowing they weren't as sensitive and they still came up pos.
  Called my doctor to ask and they let me get some bloodwork done.
  But of course I'm a nervous first time mom and since im not gettin the resuts until friday/monday I broke down and bought more FReR. Took one 6 days from original and it's nice and dark.
  
  Now I can rest easy.
  I wish I would have waited an entire week instead of testing almost daily cause it annoyed my husband. But in the end I know my HCG is increasing and that makes me happy.
  
  If you can hold off several days to take another test. I bet it will be darker. But make sure and use the same type of test as the original.

  Thanks so much for responding. I was also thinking since I already wake up 34 times in the middle of the night to pee it may not be concentrated enough to darken? Either way I have an appt tomorrow and will ask for blood work. Thanks again!!
