Back story: I have a2.5 year old ds. We conceived him within two months of going off birth control. We started trying when he was 10months for another.
We still have had no success. I have seen a fertility doctor and the only thing he can find wrong is a short luteal phase. I have been treating this with crinone gel (progesterone) for months now. He then determined that my thyroid is low functioning so now I'm on synthroid for the second month in and so far no luck. Thursday is my test date but I already have red tinged cm from the crinone so I assume it'll be a bust.
I will gladly take any advice anyone can handout or even a success story.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I'm so sorry you are on this difficult road. The OB/GYN that did my initial IF testing diagnosed me with LPD due to a low p4 level on 7dpo. However, my RE didn't subscribe to LPDs since they could be controlled with supplemental progesterone and re-diagnosed me with "unexplained IF." It's such a rough diagnosis.
With an unexplained diagnosis, my RE practice typically does (in this order): timed intercourse cycles with oral meds, IUIs with oral meds, IUIs with injectables, IVF. Typically, they liked to do three IUIs before moving to IVF. My boys are the result of my second full IVF cycle.
