4th of July meal ideas?

So.... what cha making for tomorrow?

We will be doing the normal hot dogs and hamburgers...but I personally also wanted something fun... and hence the menu grew...

    We are going to a family BBQ. There will be the stand hot dogs/hamburgers, salads, etc. I'm bringing this to share. Technically, I'm suppose to bring a salad or fruit thing but the lady hosting told my MIL this and my MIL didn't tell me until yesterday. Too late to deal with making something else, getting new ingredients, etc. So....oh well.

    We were going to throw a BBQ with the standard fare (burgers, salad, etc.) but it turned out that pretty much everyone we invited was busy.  So it will just be the 3 of us.  We're making beer brats today and then tomorrow DH will grill those along with corn and summer squash from our garden.  Yum!
