NWMR: Beach Bag Recommendations?

Do you all just take your regular diaper bag to the beach/pool plus another tote for toys, beach towels, etc?  Or do you have one big bag you use for everything?

I'm not a huge fan of the plastic bags.  Are the mesh ones best so that sand falls through?  I think I need something fairly large, but would also like to have pockets and sleeves to keep things organized instead of one bottomless pit if you KWIM.

    I like the Jujube Wannabe or Super Be.  Both big with pockets.  The Wannabe has the mesh to let sand fall through and the Super Be does not.

    We got this Saltwater Canvas one and LOVE it.  It holds lots of big beach towels, diapers, sunblock, chnages of clothes, snacks, and more!  It also washes off easily and is very lightweight but durable mesh.  I would have never thought I'd spend $40 on a beach bag, but it's perfect and we use it all the time and it will last forever!

    I was going to recommend this same one. Lots of pockets and washes off easily.

    I use a canvas tote from Land End as my pool and beach bag. The large size is perfect.

    I also like to use my Thirty One Large Utility tote for toys.

    forgot to say - I use a large mesh laundry bag for beach toys. I didn't want the sandy toys in my beach bag with the snacks, cell phone, towels, etc.

    I needed a new beach bag this year and found this on amazon.  It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I bought it anyway.  I've only used it once so far but I love it.  The pockets are perfect for kid's cups and sun lotion, there's inside and deep pockets to keep diapers and a small wallet.  There's also a mini mommy hook you can attach on some small buckets.

    We have a number of the LL Bean canvas totes... medium sized will fit stuff for one kid and one adult (we have 2) and we have the huge size that we can get stuff for the whole family in. They are super durable, I love them. But no pockets which is sort of a drag. I recently got this awesome silicone rubber case thing from P+G designs for my phone/cards/money/keys that I really like, I just toss it in the bag, it is a really bright color & easy to find.
