We went to the hospital I work for, the nurse told us there was a three hour wait and he'd be more likely to catch strep in the waiting room than to have something wrong with him, as he was acting and responding completely normal. She said he looked great and gave us her cell number in case we had any problems in the MOTN.

He was laughing and smiling after about a 15 minute cry session between the both of us. He was up for 2 hours afterwards and was completely normal.

Thank God. He really could have been hurt.

Also, if your kid falls down the stairs, here are some "warning signs" to look for (meaning you should take them in): blacking out afterwards, losing consciousness, extremely tired, decrease in appetite, MOTN wakings that can't be soothed, and a nose bleed.
