Urine sample fail

Peeing in a cup is really hard when you can't bend over enough to see what's going on down there! I ended up peering all over my hand at this mornings OB visit.

    Last time I wrote my name on the cup and managed to dribble all down the side, smudging my name and getting urine over my hands too. Glad I'm not the only one!

    I would trade you places. I was talking to the nurse as she led me to the restroom... I had done it 4 times before, but somehow the combination of being distracted and pregnancy brain, I just went and peed without giving a sample at all. Epic FAIL!!

    I have, twice, taken the cup with me into the restroom, and forgotten to pee in the darn cup. The nurse laughed at me.

    I can't, to save my life, pee in a cup. No idea why. I have actually sat in the parking lot and drank 4 bottles of water before my appointment only to have the feeling "disappear". So a few months back Tyne nurse said I could take a cup home and pee before as long as I refrigerated it. So I did, put the cup in a paper bag and stuck it into my purse to go to my appointment. I get there and take it out only to realize the lid wasn't tight and it had been leaking in my purse and I still had to give another sample! And throw out my purse. :/
