Csection and swimming

When can you swim after a csection? I went to the doctor yesterday and forgot to ask. She told me I could resume activities but to take it easy so I'm assuming swimming would be fine. I'm not really bleeding anymore at all, so that would be the only thing holding me back.

When I went to my 2wk pp appt, my dr said no swimming until 6wks pp.

I had a 3 week pp appt this morning, and my Dr told me I was cleared to resume all activity except heavy lifting and running. She said swimming is acceptable now.

I went swimming this week for the first time at 3 weeks PP. Mydoctor just told me to wait until I had stopped bleeding and the incision was completely closed. Swimming felt absolutely amazing! I didn't go swim laps or anything but more so floated around which felt awesome

My OB said to wait 6 weeks before I took a bath or went swimming.

Thanks ladie I went ahead and called my doctor and she said as long as my incision was healing fine then I could at 2 weeks pp, can't wait to get in a pool!

Mine said 4 to 6 weeks before soaking or swimming in any body of water. Ohhh how I ache to jump in a pool right now. Luckily my new gross stretch marks are keeping stay put in the house!
