Cycling after a loss

Hi ladies, I am curious about your experiences about cycling after a loss. We lost our FET baby last week at 11w2d (a D&C wasn't necessary). We'd like to have our kids close in age, so we'd like to try again sooner rather than later (we have 2 frosties left).

I was thinking of waiting for my next period and then starting birth control to prepare for the FET. I know everyone's body is different, but I just wanted to hear what others have done. How soon did you cycle again after a loss?

After 2+ years TTC, 1 miscarriage, & 3 failed IUI's... IVF#1 worked! DD born 2012
2013 FET#1: BFP, but we lost the baby at 12 weeks
2013 FET#2: BFN
2014 FET#3: BFP, but our sweet baby was born sleeping at 33 weeks
IVF#2: BFP! DD born 2015
2017 IVF#3: BFN
2017 IVF#4: BFN
1st Dx = Unexplained IF, 2017 Dx = DOR

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss. I did not do a FET (my loss was after a TI cycle and my wait was right before starting my IUIs), but was told by my RE and OB to wait two full cycles. I do believe some of their recommendation was due to the emotional toll of the loss. 
    TTC in 2009, Dx: Unexplained IF
    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    I am so sorry for your loss.

    I had an early m/c after an IUI and waited for one normal period before starting our IVF cycle.  This was what my RE recommended.

    Beta #1 9dp5dt = 116, P4 = 28 ~ Beta #2 13dp5dt = 700 ~ Beta #3 20dp5dt = 9500, P4 = 26

    First off so sorry about your loss. For us we usually waited a couple of cycles. For me it was much more of an emotional thing, I needed to grieve the loss before I felt comfortable trying again.

    After my loss we tried again next cycle. It was a BFN but the next was successful. I'm so sorry for your loss.
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I so sorry for your loss.

    I had a blighted ovum discovered at 7 weeks. I did not have a d and c. We waited for my beta to hit zero then I started bcps and went right into our next IVF cycle which was successful. Good luck!

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have no advice as both of my losses were on natural cycles.


    After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

    This is what my RE required too. We decided to take an extra cycle each time just for an emotional break. FWIW the cycle after my IVF BFP and m/c was the cycle that brought us DS. I also sorry for your loss. Hoping you get your sticky BFP very soon!

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had a d&c and then had to wait for my beta to drop to zero.  Then I had to have 1 normal period before I was allowed to cycle.

    IVF #1: Sept 2011: Beta 10/10- BFP!! 1st u/s 10/31/11 1 blighted ovum, 1 embryo 2nd u/s 11/14/11 stopped growing, no h/b D/C 11/17/11

    IVF #2: FET 5/4/12 : Beta 5/16/12 BFN

    IVF #3: ET 7/6/12 : 7/18 Beta #1 BFP at 246, 7/20 Beta #2 at 713, 7/27 Beta #3 at 9068. 1st u/s 8/7 with one lovely hb.
