Is this normal?

DS had a tooth start poking through his gums last Tuesday and it's still just showing the tip. His second tooth started poking out Sunday and hasn't had a chance to rise yet. I feel like I hear stories of teething and teeth pop up over night but my little guy is in slow-rising tooth agony!

HOnestly, it took almost a month for DS's lower 2 teeth to completely emerged. However, he was back to his normal self as soon as the teeth cut through the gum.

His top 2 teeth cut through last week; at this time, they're still barely visible (I can feel a slight edge sticking out of his gum line.)

My LO's first was slow, second was fast. Every baby is going to be totally different.

Normal. DS has been working on the same tooth going on 4 weeks now. I ::think:: it is almost through (fingers crossed).

Normal, and for funsies my two year old's molar is breaking the surface and then recedes.

I saw my baby's top two teeth a couple of days before her 6 month appointment and now they just started to come through at 9 1/2 months. They took so long that the two next to the ones I saw all those months ago came out at the same time and I never saw those caps at all. They just popped through all of a sudden. So I think its different each time.
