  I use vinegar/water to clean most things.  We use castille soaps for handwashing and in the shower/bath.  DH uses Dr. Bronners original peppermint, I use Dr. Woods lavender/shea and DD had Shea Moisture brand baby wash or Dr Woods baby wash.  Dh also has pretty bad eczema on his hands, which was the impetus for our switching everything to castille soaps in the first place.

  Other green suggestions - switch to cloth napkins and cleaning rags instead of paper, if you haven't already, hang your laundry outside to dry instead of using the drier, buy your food from local farms and at farmer's markets . . .

  For most people one of the main ingredient to make a multipurpose cleaners is vinegar.i personally I don't like using it. My multipurpose cleaner is made with alcohol,water and soap.and to have a nice smell on it. I put some lemon,grapefruit,and mandarin peel inside of the alcohol bottle and just leave there,sometimes I put lavender,mint or roses. All depend of what kind of soap I have.i use a multipurpose soap,I use it for dish and laundry too.the brand of the soap is EO multipurpose soap.

  I try to use less plastic, for example. I have a soap dispenser,the way I don't need to buy bottle of soap,and also it help to the soap last longer. And one of the things that I love about it,is that for hand soap,and shampoo I buy a refiel,instead of buing bottle,I buy it on bags. For the shampoo and aconditioner I reuse the bottle.

  we use olivo oil soap,for all of as.it cost less than a dollars.the brand is, AGNO soap,you can get it at any natural soap. I made my own moisturizer, I just use olivo oil as a main ingredient, I mixt it wit roses oil,and vitamin E.

  one thing that I buy,for cleaning the door shower is the seventh generation natural tub&cleaner,that thing does magic.

  you can try using less electricity,for example from 2:00 to 6:00 pm I don't use,tv,or computer,or washer.tha way the electricity don't get to expense.

  i try to made my LO cloths,and I Plant,some tomatoes and cucumbers on pots.

  i try to get him wood toys,instead of plastic.for his diaper covers I use wool,instead of pocket. You can made them from a sweater or buy.the way you don't need to buy and buy cloth diapers,because you are not goin to end having a delaminated diapers.

  you can try changing little things that you do in your every day live.for example recycle,reuse,reduce,what you thing you can change all this little things will help you bee more green.

  for my LO,I use the aquaphor baby shampoo,aveno lotion,olivo oil soap or tea tree oil soap,and witch hazel.all this are for his body.for his teeth, I got him the radius tooth brush and the spy kid tooth paste,and the sun block is the elemental herbs.

  one of the best thing that I'm proud about it is,that most of his cloths I made them,and his uncle give it t him. ( my brother inlaw has a 6 month old LO than my) so all the cloths that they don't use any more they give it to him.

  try to dry hang,your cloth diapers and most of your laundry instead of using the dryer. You can you cloth towels for the kitchen instead of paper.

  there is a lot more you can do. Good luck been green is not to complicated,you just needs to change it little by little.
