Where are my one and done-rs at? All this TTC talk makes me jealous of not having to worry about trying to make sure you don't get pregnant!!

I'm not quite ready to bit the bullet and get perma-birth control, and I doubt I could find a doctor who would let me without a fight. Whatever. Coming off depo to try to lose this baby weight then we're going to be using condoms and pulling out. Maybe when I lose the weight I'll try something else too.

Anywho. Anyone else just one and done?

    One and done here!  I have Mirena, but I'm thinking of having it pulled out and just getting my tubes tied.  I was hoping that Mirena would lessen my periods, but I still bleed every month.

    Right here! Not ready to do anything permanent, but seeing people with more than one kid NEVER makes me want another one. Lol

    Bunches of pregnant ladies at work. Thinking about their still to come newborns only makes me glad I no longer have one. Loving this age.

    We are! I'm not 100percent sold in it but dh is. If anything changed it wouldn't be for five or more years we're by lucky to have L and if that's where we stop I'm so happy.

    I feel like I'm 99 sure I'm done but oh man making the decision to finalize is hard.

    I'm 100 sure I'm okay with DH getting a vasectomy but I feel like if I did anything I'd never hear the end of it from my mom and my MIL.

    I'm pretty sure I'm done, but sometimes I catch myself thinking about how I'd do it next time. SO really wants another sometime down the line. He keeps telling me that it might not be so bad next time.

    I've always just wanted one but DH wants more.  I'm still on the fence though.  Not to be completely morbid, but with Liam's possible health problems DH may talk me into trying for another. I know- that's terrible isn't it?

    that would be us too, on the one and odone anyway.

    DH would get snipped tomorrow if i'd let him, but as i'm not 100% sure we're done (i still kinda feel like i want a 2nd someday) we're waiting a few years.  if we still feel the same in 4 years then he's off to get snipped. on the pill until then.

    We most likely are. We agreed not to seriously discuss it until he is 18 months which is when I plan to start back on warfarin. The final decision will be when my IUD runs out, if we are still ok with just one then I want to get Essure.

    I just see too many benefits to having one that are difficult to ignore.

    Yes

    Every time I think I want another it's really just because I want to be pregnant again and I want DH to be ale to see his child born. But it doesn't end there so it would be a really terrible decision to have another just for that.

    This chick right here! After 2 miscarriages and a very scary end of the pregnancy we just don't want to risk it. I'm a little sad that I won't be pregnant again or have a teeny tiny baby again but for health reasons it's the best decision.
