Hi there,
Let me start by saying I know many of you would never spend this amount on a bag-I respect that. However, I want to so let me ask around
I am looking for a high end diaper bag that looks more like a purse so I can also use it for work right now. I don't like coach bags (all the c's), and have struggled to find a kate spade one I like. I also disliked the MarcJacobs too-thought the preppy tote looked like an overpriced beach bag I am looking to spend around $300, and would prefer a tote style. I have a Timi and Leslie which is ok, but I was hoping for a designer brand purse that has a baby line. I have been considering the StorkSak Elizabeth but would prefer a tote.
(Petunia and JuJuBe look like diaper bags to me)
I would love to hear your recs!
Re: designer diaper bag?
I got a Danzo diaper bag. They're on sale at Gilt right now. But I got the one at the link below in blue.

Armani : https://rstyle.me/n/9eyqu6ie
Burberry: https://rstyle.me/n/9eytu6ie
Gucci: https://rstyle.me/n/9eywu6ie
Rebecca Minkoff: https://rstyle.me/~BI1W
ETA: Oops, just noticed the budget! Well the Armani or Rebecca Minkoff are pretty close. More Armani under $300 here and here.
you mentioned kate spade already, but i happen to LOVE their stevie line. If there is an outlet near you they are much cheaper. I got mine for 150.
They have this one in all black and the small dots.
if you dont mind paying retail the large dots are nice. the black is probably the least baby bag looking gl!

Ooo, that is super cute, I have never seen that one before!
I have this Kate Spade. You can read my GLOWING review on amazon; it is copied below as well:

I am so in love with this bag. Why, you ask? Let me share:
1)It fits everything easily.
2)The bright red liner is lovely and makes it easy to find items in the bag.
3)The diaper pad is indeed thick however I don't use it. Rather I use the Skip Hop Studio Pronto Changing Station, so that I can easily switch my travel diaper station from one bag to the next without worry of forgetting any important items. It fits this contraption easily while leaving ample room for all other necessities and nice to haves
4)Just the right amount and size of internal pockets. And they are NOT padded which is great because they are in my skip hop bag which serves only to add unnecessary bulk and waste valuable space.
5)Two external pockets are the perfect size to fit my large wallet, keys, sunglasses and small bottle of water. All while looking totally adorable.
6)The hideaway hanging straps are perfect for attaching to strollers or shopping carts.
Of course this is a ridiculous amount to spend on a diaper bag. However this bag functions as so much more as it is stylish, doesn't scream, "baby" and can be taken to any nicer establishment or event without feeling like "frumpy mom".
What is funny is that my friend offered to buy me a Kate Spade diaper bag from the outlet but I refused saying that there is no way I'd spend that much on a diaper bag. Now I know - she was SO right about this! This is one splurge you won't regret!
Ooops, sorry I missed the part about how you can't find a Kate Spade that you like. Check ebags.com or zappos.com?
