HELP Baby Shower Invites

We have our invitation online. The host(esses) and the guests of honor have access to the invitations.
After the guest of honor added guests and requested some help for guests they don't know how to contact, one of the hostesses invited a TON of guests that the guests of honor barely/or do not even know? Some of which they purposefully left off the list and DO NOT want at the Shower hosted in their home? 
 
What was a small 30 person event, is now looking like 70+
It almost feels like the shower is now a social/look at me event for the hostess(es)
 
What do you do? Do you do anything? The internet invites are already sent. Do you suck it up and pray they don't come? Do you delete the ones you DO NOT want coming? Do you confront a hostess and wait for the blow up?
or just maybe you are hormonal and need to appreciate the gesture?

    Confront the hostess and let her know, no more invites.

     

    have fun, accept the generous gifts and send a TY immediately.
