  You pay like $78/yr for membership and get free streaming TV/movies plus free two day shipping and $3.99 per item overnight shipping. Not everything is Prime eligible, though, but you can sort for things that are.

  Amazon Prime is like a devil on one shoulder, angel on the other!  Basically turns everyday into Christmas, I have at least 3 packages a week.  And even though they're for Micah I still get excited.

  You can also do Amazon Mom. It think it's like prime with extra savings on diapers and stuff.

  Yep! Billed yearly in the month your started it.

  I loved it before baby and am IN LOVE after baby. Especially since DH works late/nights. I often can't get to the store for days at a time (unless I were to go at lunch) so I just order it on Amazon. You can even use their e-coupons.
  

  If you have a Kindle or Roku (or a bunch of other devices) you can watch the TV/movies on there.

  It's the devil.  I order so much more because I get free 2 day shipping.  I love it though.  Best $80 I've spent in a long time!

  THE BEST THING EVER!!!

  I have Amazon Mom which is Amazon Prime with a 20% discount on diapers and wipes when you set an order schedule for them so I get a month and a half supply of diapers for about $26.

   But for $80 a year you have access to what is like a Netflix Instant Play library online, free 2 day shipping on anything that ships directly from Amazon ($3.99 for next day delivery $7.99 for Saturday delivery!) And a monthly free rental of select books for your kindle (you can download a kindle app free on iphone or ipad!)

  I love my Prime, too! We got it a little over a year ago when they had a promo for half off, and now we are hooked. It is still a good deal at full price.

  We don't have a TV, so we do most of our watching from Amazon and we order a bunch of stuff, too. It is convenient and a bit addicting.

  I used the free 1 month trial, but didn't sign up. I dont like that not everything has free shipping. Plus I notice if I find something that is prime eligible vs. something that's not it's most always $2 or so more expensive which kind of cancels the free shipping. I have Netflix & Hulu so the tv perk isn't worth it for me.

  We got our subscription for free. If you're a student or have a .edu e-mail address, it's $39/year instead of $79. We got ours for free during a promotion.

  KLM...crawling out from under a rock?  You NEED amazon prime since you live in the middle of nowhere!  We got it since DH ordered something that was eligible and the prime membership was cheaper than shipping on the item.  Works for me!
