Ectopic?

I am at the emergency room, and a wreck right now because my doctor called me saying because I was 1200 hcg rose from 362 from Friday and they didn't see anything on my ultrasound. I was under the assumption 4 days late from my period is too early to see anything on an ultrasound? I dunno, I'm getting checked out to have some peace of mind! Any knowledge would be helpful!

    With my second son I had an ultrasound done at 5 weeks 2 days and there was nothing that resembled pregnancy found in my uterus so they told me either I was miscarrying or I was near as far along as I thought we ended up waiting it out after having my betas drawn and at 8 weeks we had another ultrasound and there he was and measured perfectly for my dates. So it's very likely it's just too early.. Praying for you though!

    I had my HCG s at about 4 1/2 weeks and they told me it would be too early to see anything on an u/s so they are sending me this Friday which would be about 5 1/2 weeks,

    I am 5 weeks 1 day and tried an ultrasound, of course they couldn't see anything yet. I had a beta test on Saturday which was at 207 and another today and that was at 816. If you are not having any other symptoms I wouldn't be concerned yet. It's too early to see anything in an ultrasound.

    Yeah I got out of the e.r. They said to be cautiously hopeful. My beta rose again to 1865 over night which isn't consistent with ectopic, but if I'm dizzy or feel ill to be on watch.
