North County primary care physicians?

I'm 30 and Husband and I are getting serious about having a kiddo.

I haven't had annual exam or a pelvic exam for...5 years now : I don't even have a primary care physician. I have just been going to urgent care as needed (less than once a year) for resp. infection, an ear ache, etc.

First, I need to get my butt to the doctor.

Any suggestions for great doctors in North County? I'm in San Marcos. I guess I want this person to be with me before, during and after baby.

I'm on Anthem/Blue Cross, if that matters.

I see Dr.Proskina at Scripps Carlsbad. Scripps is amazing, they are prompt and friendly! I have Anthem as well.

Thanks for the reply! I made an appointment with Dr. Martinez at North County Women's Specialists in Escondido. I haven't seen any comments on here re: NCWS. I hope it goes well.
